Train
Wreck XPress (TWXP) was established in 2014 to publish
quality novels, poetry, memoir, and stories, particularly
by those not served well (or even noticed) by mainstream
presses. These creative minds seeking a place for their
work to call home include people of color, the incarcerated,
LGBTQ folk, and those in lower socio-economic brackets.
As
a traditional small press that pays all costs of publication,
TWXP issues regular royalties to authors based upon sales.
We want to ensure that each author understands the publication
process and has choices and input so everything about
the book is of the highest quality. TWXP strives to issue
only the very finest of titles.
TWXP
is served by a variety of excellent indie editors, including
Kay
Grey, Zee
Ahmad, Lori L. Lake, and eagle eye Claudia
Kuzie. The eye-catching covers, logos, and other art we
use are created by Lorelei or by
Sheri at Hindsight Graphics, unless
otherwise noted.
We use Stan Drew's company,
Golden
Images, LLC, for all of our scanning needs
and highly recommend them.
TWXP
is not currently accepting submissions, but we will take
on projects from aspiring writers again in the future.
Keep a close eye on the Submissions Page to find out when
that happens.
TWXP REQUIRES FAIRNESS,
DIVERSITY, AND INCLUSION
Diverse, multi-racial, multi-age, and
differently-able writers deserve unbiased treatment and
inclusion in our society and in all of the fine arts.
Train Wreck XPress welcomes submissions from writers of
every color, ability, age, culture, background, and more.
Books featuring characters who are "diverse"
(which reflects the Real World) are always welcome. We
believe that *all* good writing by, for, and/or about
people of every kind is very much needed in the world
today.
